About SES-REC:

The Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education (MGNCRE) ,Ministry of Higher Education, Govt. Of India, Recognized our college as Social Entrepreneurship Swachhta & Rural Engagement Cell (SES & REC) Institution. Through this SES & REC, various activities are implemented for the welfare of our students. The following committee guide and encourage the students to take part in the SES & REC related activities.

Serving a community in which every individual attains personal fulfillment and wellbeing.

Mission:

To bring social change involving knowledge sharing, capacity building, experiential learning and entrepreneurial development in a sustainable ecological manner.

Objective:

The ultimate purpose of SES REC of KMG College of Arts and science (Autonomous) is to realize the Swachh Bharat (announced in 2014), which are visions envisioned by our great nation's planners as well as by each and every one of its citizens, although on a smaller scale.

India's villages are home to its people. The concepts of Swachhta (cleanliness) is so deeply ingrained in Indian heritage that we rarely need to be reminded of them.

Functions:

Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, in Government of India strives to promote resilient rural India through Higher Education interventions.

MGNCRE designs, develops and promotes curriculum inputs for higher education programmes offered by Universities,Colleges and Autonomous Institutions in India.

The five main Functions are as under:

• Greenery
