The Women's Welfare Club was started in our College on 09.03.2010. On that day the Women’s day was celebrated.
Mrs.Susheela Suryaprakash, Hon’ble Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Vellore Presided over the function. Mrs.Yuvarani, Sub Inspector of Gudiyattam Police Station addressed the gatherings

Aim of the Club:

 Women’s  Welfare Club  was created in our college on 09.03.2010 with the aim of developing self-confidence and awareness among the  girl students and to empower young women with a value-based educational opportunity that provides necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to become responsible global citizens.

FUNCTIONS OF THE CLUB:

The major roles of the women’s welfare club are:

  1. To create social awareness about the problems of women.
  2. To encourage involvement in academic, cultural and other activities.
  3. To review safety and security measures for women at college campus.
  4. To organizes various training programmes to create awareness on health, hygiene and women empowerment.
