OBJECTIVES
- Karuna International is a registered nonprofit service organization working to inculcate and develop human values in young students through Karuna Clubs in schools and colleges for the past eighteen years.
- The sole objective of Karuna International is to awaken in children and young adults the inherent love, kindness and compassion towards all living beings, plants, animals and fellow human beings; as well as to appreciate and help in their own way to conserve our environment.
- The Karuna Club of our school aims to inculcate values like: Universal brotherhood (Maitry), Respect for virtuous people (Pramod), Compassion (Karuna), Respect for all religions (Madhyastha Bhav) in our students.
VISION
- Karuna Club of K.M.G COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIECE was established in the year 2022.
- The club inculcates Karuna values among the students. The main objective of karuna club is to make the future generation responsible and productive citizens who will prove to be useful assets for the nation.
- It creates awareness among students to kindle their feeling of kindness towards all living creatures.

- The motto of this club is “Live & Let Live”.

EVENT 1 – Community service- st.anne’s home
K.M.G.College of arts and Science, Karuna Club Organized programme Community service X-mas celebration in St.Annes old age home, Gudiyattam. On 22.12.2022. 30 of our students participated and spending time with old people with refreshment and gifts. Some of our students did cultural programmes in this event.
EVENT II – Herbal gardening
K.M.G.College of arts and Science, National Service Scheme Organized programme Herbal Gardening on 17.08.2022. To create knowledge about our Indian herbs and importance. Our Beloved Principal Dr.M.Senthil Raj presides over the gathering. Department of Biochemistry staffs and students planted herbs in the garden.
