Academic Year 2020- 2021:

PG and Research Department of Biochemistry staffs and students participated in One day work shop on “Research methodology in life science“conducted by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi on 16.03.2021.

Academic Year 2019- 2020:

1. PG final year students attended a one day workshop on “Automation in Biochemistry” on 27th February 2020 organized by Islamiah College (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi. Students were exposed to instruments that are routinely used in Clinical laboratories like Turbo Chem fully automated Biochemistry analyzer, Horiba ABX Micros 60 Cell counter and Biotech Urine analyzer. Students were also taught to handle SDS PAGE, Agarose gel electrophoresis, Gel documentation technique and Ultrasonicator.

2.Students of I PG attended a one day “Instrumentation Workshop”on 29th February 2020 conducted by DKM College for Women, Sainathapuram, Vellore. Students were made to know the working procedures of instruments like UV-Visible spectrophotometer, FTR, Atomic absorption spectroscopy, Lyophilizer and Autoanalyzer by demonstration classes conducted in the workshop.
