Dr.R.Maheswari and Prof S.Karthigaidevi introduced the chief Guests.
Resourse Persons Were Honoured by the Management. Dr. G.Duraimuthumani, Asst.Professor,Department of Biochemistry, SRM University, . Dr.N.Karthik,Asst.Professor in Biochemistry,REVA University,Bangalore. Karnataka. delivered Special Lectures on Impact of Genetics in Our Life and PCR Based Molecular Tools for Quality Control Applications.
Students from Various Colleges Participated and the Presented the Posters.The Best Posters Were Awarded.

Mushroom cultivation
PG and Research Department of Biochemistry conducted Skill based training program in Mushroom cultivation on 05.11.2022. Mr.G.Ravikumar,Tamil Nadu Agricultural University , ARS, KVK, Virinchipuram was the trainer and gave training on Mushroom Cultivation.
This training is believed to encourage the students to perform mushroom farming and become a small scale entrepreneur, bridge socio-economic issues and improve health.
Millets and its importance:-
PG and Research Department of Biochemistry conducted one day program on “Millets and its importance” on 24.11.2022. Millets, being gluten free and low glycemic index food are good for diabetic persons and can help to combat cardiovascular diseases and nutritional deficiency.
Our college Vice Principal Prof.M.Megarajan addressed the gathering by giving a lecture on the topic “Millets and its nutritional importance for healthy life”. Students participated with full enthusiasm which proved that younger generations are aware of our traditional healthy foods and recipes and not a mere junk food lovers. Prof.R.Ranjitham B.Sc.,M.P.Ed ,Prof.R.M.Balamurugan MCA.,M.Phil.,B.Ed ,Mr.S.Palani,Canteen Master were judged the students recipes and Students were given special gifts from the principal and bagged lot of appreciation from all the teaching and non-teaching faculties.
Outreach Programme:-
K.M.G.College of arts and science, PG and Research Department of Biochemistry organizes programme on “Blood group Identification Camp”on 24.11.2022. Head and Asst.Professors of Biochemistry department preside over this programme.
Herbal Gardening:-
The PG and Research department of Biochemistry Organized “Herbal Gardening” on 25.07.2022 in our college campus. Prof .Dr M.Valarmathi M.Sc.,Ph.D., Principal, and Prof.M.Megharajan ,Vice principal K.M.G College of Arts and Science Gudiyattam, inaugurated and Presided over the function.
The Activity was coordinated by Dr.J.Thirumagal Head, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry.
Poster Presentation:-
PG and Research Department of Biochemistry .Conducted Intra Department Activity on Poster Presentation Titled on Recent Trends in Bioscience on 09.11.2022 at Smart Class Room. Judgement members were Prof .G.Raghuvarman and Prof V.Renu.The Best Posters Presented by Students Were awarded.
The Activity was coordinated by the Dr.R.Maheswari and Ms.G.Kowsalya Assistant Professor Department of Biochemistry.

Quiz Competition:-
PG and Research Department of Biochemistry, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science, Gudiyattam organized Quiz Competition on 13.02.2023 for Biochemistry students in our campus. Five teams of students were participated and won the Prizes for I, II and III.
