BRIDGE COURSE
PG Department of English, K.M.G. College of Arts and science, offers Bridge course for all discipline first year students. The ten days of Bridge course is been offered as a regular programme. This programme helps the students to learn English language for effective communication. The teacher acts as a facilitator helping the students to improve language acquisition for ten days. The faculty members of Department of English produce a Bridge course material for all first year students. The exercises of bridge course facilitate self-learning and build confidence level in LSRW skills which are important for the learning of English language. Bridge course including various language activities that induce interactions and discussions among students to express themselves freely in English. Thus, Bridge course proves to be the best opportunity for the students to adapt themselves to the new academic and social environment.
