Activities 2020 – 2021

Event 1:

The Department of Business Administration organized an Institutional Level Webinar on 12-01-2021 on the topic “National Level Business Plan Competition” through Google meet link https://meet.google.com/bkw-piaj-hpk with the help of our Rural Entrepreneur Development Cell (REDC). Dr. C. Arunachalam, Assistant Professor & Head of the Business Administration Department welcomed the gathering. Dr. M. Valarmathi, Principal presided over this program. Mr. P. Daniel Sundarraj, Head, Deparment of Computer Science & the Co-Ordinator, REDC, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered an inaugural address. Dr. G. Rajini, Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of Higher Education & Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India acted as the resource person and delivered a special lecture on the topic “National Level Business Plan Competition”. About 86 students and 20 faculty members participated in the webinar and benefited by this program. Dr. P. Shankar, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration proposed a vote of thanks.

   

Event 2:

The Department of Business Administration organized an Institutional Level Workshop on 04-02-2021 on the topic “Social Entrepreneurship” through Zoom Application in the link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/820632003454. The SES REC of our college coordinated this program. Mr. P. Daniel Sundarraj, Co-Ordinator, SES-REC, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science gave the welcome address. Dr. C. Arunachalam, Head & Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration gave the inaugural address. Dr. M. Valarmathi, Principal, gave the presidential address. About 130 students and 20 faculty members participated in this event. Dr. B. S. C. Naveen Kumar, Chief Program Co-Ordinator, Rural Entrepreneurship, Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India acted as the resource person  and conducted a workshop on “Social Entrepreneurship” for our college students. Dr. P. Shankar, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, proposed a vote of thanks at end of the program.

 

Event 3:

The Department of Computer Science organized an Institutional Level Workshop on 19-02-2021 on the topic “Implementation of Regular Business Plans – Formation of Student Self Help Teams” through GoTo Meeting App in the link https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/323033349. The SES REC of our college coordinated this program. Mr. P. Daniel Sundarraj, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & the Co-Ordinator of SES-REC, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered the welcome address. Dr. M. Valarmathi, Principal, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered the presidential address. About 245 students and the faculty members belonging to the streams B.Sc., Computer Science and B.C.A. participated in it and benefited by this program. Dr. B. S. C. Event 4:

The SES REC of our organized an Institutional Level Workshop on 22-02-2021 on the topic “Rural Entrepreneurship” through Google Meet App. Mr. P. Daniel Sundarraj, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & the Co-Ordinator of SES-REC, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered the welcome address. Dr. C. Arunachalam, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Business Administration delivered the inaugural address. Dr. M. Valarmathi, Principal, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered the presidential address. About 100 students and the faculty members belonging to the streams B.B.A., B.Com., and B.Com (CA) participated in it and benefited by this program. Dr. Sai Kiran, Rural Entrepreneurship, Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India acted as the resource person and conducted a workshop on “Rural Entrepreneurship” for our students. Dr. K. Shankar, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, proposed a vote of thanks at end of the program.
