ACTIVITY – 1
The Enviro Club conducted a competition in association with Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board on 30th August 2019 at KMG Auditorium. Mr.M.Raja, Project Director, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board gave valuable information about the conservation of water.
80 students participated in this Program. The best slogans were selected and the prizes were distributed to the winners by the Director Dr.D.Gajapathy and Principal Dr.M.Valarmathi on 26.09.2019.
ACTIVITY – 2
The Enviro Club conducted various competitions on the topic of “Eradication of Plastic usage and their effects in recycling” on 10th October 2019 to create awareness among the students related to the concept Evergreen India.
Students from all the departments participated in the competition and taken a pledge for avoiding usage of Plastic in the presence of Principal Dr.M.Valarmathi and Director Dr.D.Gajapathy.
ACTIVITY – 3
Enviro Club has initiated a “Composting” process on 13th August 2019. It is very useful phenomenon of making compost out of dead leaves, vegetables wastes and grass. This is a noble responsibility to inculcate the benefits of raising plantation in a student’s mind and to take different biodiversity improvement.
A plantation program was conducted in the college on 25th Jan 2020.The member and the convener of the Enviro-Club along with the Principal planted different kinds of saplings inside the college campus. It was encouraged and enhanced by our Principal.
