Event 1 : Department Association
The Association of PG Department of Microbiology organized a program nn “Cancer awareness” on 12th July 2019. Dr. K.Velavan, Managing Director, Consultant Radiation Oncologist, Erode acted as a Resource person and delivered the lecture.
Event 2 : Special Lecture
The department conducted a program on “HIV Diseases and its treatment” on 30th Aug 2019. Mr.S.Yuvaraj, Graduate Virologist, CMC ,Vellore acted as a Resource person and gave lecture.
Event 3 : Industrial Visit
On 07.08. 2019, PG students and faculty members were visited the Exonn Bioscience, Taramani, Chennai. The students were benefitted to visit the industry based on the bioinstrumentation process.
Event 4 : Quiz Competition
The department conducted a quiz program on 15.7.2019 related to microbiology general concept.
Event 5 : Dengue awareness
On 22.10.2019, department students participated a mass rally to create an awareness on dengue fever in and around the places of Ammanankuppam village.
