Event 1:
To create consumer awareness among college students around vellore district, as per our district collector’s guidelines, Regional Joint Directorate of collegiate Education, on behalf of World’s Consumer Day inter college Drawing competition, Composition writing & poetry writing competition on “Protection from unfair Advertisement“, was conducted in D.K.M. College for Women. Competition was held on 25.02.2020.
Miss.P.Lakshmi of II B.Com(C.A)., Miss.S.Sandigadevi of II B.Com(C.A)., and Miss.M.Abitha Rani of II B.Sc., Mathematics participated in Composition writing. Poetry writing competitor was Miss.A. yuvarani from II B.Sc., Mathematics. Mr.Yuvaraman of III B.Sc Microbiology and Miss. M.Abitha Rani of II B.Sc., Mathematics participated in Drawing competition.
Event 2:
The consumer club organised a workshop on ‘IT consumerism’ for the students on 05.03.2020. Our Honorable Principal Dr. M. Valarmathi M.Sc., M.Phil., B.Ed., Ph.D., inaugurated the session by lighting the holy lamp. Our beloved Vice principal, Prof. M. Megharajan M.A., M.Phil., delivered the presidential address. Dr.J.sasikanth M.B.A., M.Phil.,Ph.D., Assistant Professor in Management Studies, Sacred Heart College(Autonomous), Tirupattur, delivered a lecture on ‘IT Consumerism’.
