Event 1:

Title: Fresher’s Day
Date & Time: 13.07.2023 & 10.00AM To 1.00PM

The Fresher’s Day started with a prayer song and was followed by a welcome address given by the student Ms.G.Gayathri , III- B.C.A ‘A’. Prof. P. Anjugam, Head, Computer Applications delivered felicitation address.

The principal of the college Dr.M.SenthilRaj delivered Presidential address and was followed by Special address given by Dr.J.Jayakumar, Student Counsellor. Video AVI about the department was presented by the final year students. Motivational speech was given by Ms.P.Kaviya – III BCA ‘A’, Mr. B.Vignesh – III BCA ‘B’, Mr.S.Gopinath – II BCA ‘A’ and Mr. J.Ravivarma – II BCA ‘B’.
Various events like Musical-Chair, Spot the song and Action-Reaction was conducted to encourage the students. Ms. M. Hemapriya, III BCA A proposed the vote of thanks.

Event 2:

Title: Basics of Programming Languages
Date & Time: 22.07.2022 & 11:00am

The event began with the formal function at 11.00 am in the KMG seminar hall. The function started with a prayer song and was followed by a welcome address given by Prof. P. Anjugam, Head, Computer Applications. The principal of the college Dr.M.SenthilRaj delivered Presidential address.

The session of the Lecture was conducted by Prof. B. Manivannan, Guest Lecturer, Department of Computer Applications, Govt. Thirumagal Mills College, Gudiyatham. His topic of speech is ‘Basics of Programming Languages’. He explained clearly about the concepts of Programming in C that concludes a remarkable, memorable, knowledgeable session, around 100 students was participated in this session.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. V. S. Vinitha Janani , Head, Department of Data Science, she extended her gratitude to the college management, secretary, principal, HOD and Staff members. The day concluded on a precious note.

Event 3:

Title: Report for Founders Day Celebration – Drawing Competition
Date & Time: 25.07.2022 & 2.00pm

The event began with the formal function at 02.00 pm in the Department for the memory of the founder of our college Thiru.K.M.GOVINDARAJAN. The Drawing competition (Image of the Founder) was conducted to improve the skills of the students at maximum level.

The event received good response and 08 students were participated in the competition.
