- Tamil Literary Association had conducted a special lecture on 24.02.2023. Prof. Salem A. Abbu @ Albir Thous was the Chief Guest and delivered a special lecture on ‘Vazhkai Vazhvatharke’
- Tamil Literary Association conducted various competition like elocution, Essay Writing, Poetry Writing and Drawing for the students on 22.02.2023
- Tamil Department staff members Prof. R.S. Balaji, Prof. M. Radha, Prof. V. Sarala were awarded Ph.D. Degree by Thiruvalluvar University.
