Title: THE AWARENESS PROGRAM ON WASTE MANAGEMENT

SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP SWACHHTA & RURAL ENGAGEMENT CELL (SESREC), RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CELL &NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME & INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC) organized the Seminar on EXPLOITING BIOTECHNOLOGY FOR POLLUTION ABATEMENT held on Thursday, 13 October 2023 with the invocation of staff members and students of K.M.G. College of Arts and Science.
The Programme began with Thamizhthai Vaazhthu the guests and dignitaries were invited on the dice. Dr.M. Senthilraj, Principal of K.M.G College of Arts and Science felicitated the chief guests with shawl and gift and presented the presidential address to the audience. The Welcome address for the chief guests given by Mrs. S. Karthigaidevi Assistant Professor Department of Biochemistry.
Dr.M. Senthilraj, Principal gives presidential address about the seminar. Dr. H. Sridhar delivered keynote address, views on innovative ideas about the waste management . He also creates business ideas and the project ideas regarding the waste management. He explained about the process of decompositions and the chemical reactions happened in the container and explained how to convert the waste particle into fertilizers.
The faculty members and students from our college participated in that seminar. The program ends with vote of thanks given by Dr. D. Aswini,
Assistant Professor Department of English. Lastly with the great respect to the nation programme ends with national anthem.
