Event 1 : Webinar
The PG and Research Department of Microbiology and Biochemistry organized“ National Webinar on Current Scenario in Applied Sciences” on 31.07.2020.Dr Arul Amuthan, Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, Udupi and Dr. K. Suthindhiran, Associate professor and Principal Investigator, Marine Biotechnology, VIT Vellore, acted as Resource persons and delivered a lecture on this topic through Zoom cloud meeting Application. Staff Members and Students from various colleges were participated and benefitted by this Webinar. Nearly 241 members were responded and 82 members received their E-certificates.
Event 2 : Special Lecture
The PG & Research Department of Microbiology organised a special lecture on 25th January 2021. Dr. K.Geetha, Assistant professor, Department of Microbiology, Chennai National Arts and Science College, Avadi, Chennai was the chief guest. She delivered a special lecture on Waste to Energy “A sustainable Green solution for Environment” through Google Meet application. I ,II PG & III UG Students were Participated in this programme.
