Event 1:
The PG & Research Department of Computer Science and Department of Computer Applications organized a webinar titled “ MACHINE LEARNING AND DATA SCIENCE” on 23rd July 2020. Prof. P.Daniel Sundarraj, Head, Department of Computer Science welcomed the gathering. Prof. P.Anjugam, Head, Department of Computer Applications inaugurated and Dr. M.Valarmathi, Principal, presided over the function. Mr. T.Raman, Good UX, Bangalore and Dr.George Louis Raja, Head & Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur was invited as the resource person and they delivered a lecture on “ MACHINE LEARNING AND DATA SCIENCE”. As many as 200 students participated in this event.
Event 2:
The Department of Computer Science organized an Institutional Level Workshop on 04-02-2021 on the topic “Implementation of Regular Business Plans – Formation of Student Self Help Teams” through GoTo Meeting App in the link https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/323033349. The SES REC of our college coordinated this program. Mr. P. Daniel Sundarraj, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & the Co-Ordinator of SES-REC, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered the welcome address. Dr. M. Valarmathi, Principal, K.M.G. College of Arts and Science delivered the presidential address. About 245 students and the faculty members belonging to the streams B.Sc., Computer Science and B.C.A. participated in it and benefited by this program. Dr. B. S. C. Naveen Kumar, Chief Program Co-Ordinator, Rural Entrepreneurship, Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Government of India acted as the resource person and conducted a workshop on “Implementation of Regular Business Plans – Formation of Student Self Help Teams” for our students. Dr. R. Saraswathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, proposed a vote of thanks at end of the program.
