Event 1:
PG – Department of English organized an International Webinar on 3rd August 2020, Monday at 11 AM to 01. PM. Dr.M.Valarmathi, Principal, KMG College of Arts and Science Gudiyattam has inaugurated the Webinar session .The Chief Guests Dr. Fahim KK Asst.,Professor, Shaqra University, Riyadh, Saudi, he has given the strong values about “New Trends Emerging In Indian English Literature” and Dr. Chelvi S Asst.Professor Government College of Education, Vellore she has given the importance of Enrichment and Empowerment of Ourselves. On that day totally 104 members participated in this International Webinar. Various College Faculty Members, Students, Scholars were attended this International Webinar. Finally Prof.S.Arivarasan has given vote of thanks.
Event 2:
A special guest lecture was organized by the English Literary Association on 22.1.2021. Dr.C.Anita, PG & Research Department of English, Thiruvalluvar University, Serkaddu was the guest of honor. She addressed the students through Google Meet and special lecture delivered on Literary Theory: History & Development. All the students were benefitted by her excellent lecture. It was quite interesting and novel experience to us.
Event 3:
A special guest lecture was organized by the English Literary Association on 05.02.2021. Ms N. Thamizhini Assistant Professor PG & Research Department of English, Thiruvalluvar University, and Serkaddu was the guest of honor. She addressed the students through Google Meet and special lecture delivered on “Looking through a Sexist Lens: Stereotyped Portrayal of Women in Indian Advertisements”. All the students were benefitted by her excellent lecture.
