Event 1 : Special Lecture
Mathematics association conducted a special lecture on “HOW DOES MATHEMATICS RULE THE WORLD INDIRECTLY?” on 30th August 2019. Lt.L.VIKRAMAN M.Sc., M.Phil., Assistant Professor & Associate NCC Officer, PG & Research Department of Mathematics, Government Thirumagal Mills College, Gudiyattam was the resource person and gave a special lecture on this topic.
Event 2 : State Level Seminar
The PG and Research Department of Mathematics organized a state level seminar on “Fuzzy Numbers and their Applications” on 3rd October 2019. Dr.D.Gajapathy, M.Sc., Ph.D., D.H.Ed., Director inaugurated and Dr. M.Valarmathi M.Sc., M.Phil., B.Ed., Ph.D., Principal presided over the function. Prof. N. Raji, M.Sc., M.Phil., Head, PG & Research Department of Mathematics gave the welcome address, Dr. L. Sujatha, Head, PG & Research Department of Mathematics, Auxilium College (Autonomous), Vellore was invited as the resource person and delivered a lecture on “Fuzzy Numbers and their Applications”. Nearly 175 students and faculty members from various colleges participated in the seminar and presented papers. At the end of the programme the Director, Principal and Vice Principal distributed prizes for the best paper presentation.
