English Literary Association (2018-2019)
PG Department of English organized the English Literary Association on 21st August 2018 at KMG Seminar Hall. Our Chief Guest Dr. S. Logarajan, Head, PG & Research Department of English, Government Arts College, Chidambaram, addressed the students with his extraordinary speech about the importance of poetry.
English literary Association is active in our college. It has conducted various competitions such as Pencil sketch, Jam, Tongue Twister, Debate, Calligraphy, Poetry Writing, Essay Writing, and Elocution.
Intercollegiate Literary Fest, Englishiana – 2018
P.G. Department of English organized the Intercollegiate Fest, Englishiana – 2018 on 21st August, 2018 at K.M. G. Auditorium.386 students and 26 staff members from 15 colleges took part in the fest. Students participated in various events like Poetry Writing, Soliloquy, Fashion Parade, JAM, Cultural, Literary Quiz, Tongue Twister, and Mime show, Pencil Sketch and Compose and Sing. Prof. K. Suguna, Member-Academic Council (Thiruvalluvar University) Vice Prinicpal & Head, Dept. of English, Sri Akilandeswari Women’s College, Wandiwash,was the Chief Guest. Sacred Heart College (Shift-II), Thirupattur, secured the Overall Championship.
