DETAILS OF STATE LEVEL SEMINAR
ON
MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS AND ITS APPLICATIONS
(MATH 2017)
The PG and Research Department Of Mathematics organized state level seminar- MATH 2017 on 10th August 2017. Dr.D.Gajapathy, M.Sc., Ph.D., D.H.Ed., Director inaugurated and Dr.M.Jayasri Rani, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., B.Ed., Principal presided over the function. Prof. N. Raji, M.Sc., M.Phil., Head Department of Mathematics gave the welcome address. Dr.B.Srinivasan, M.Sc., M.Phil., P.hD., Asst.prof, Department of Mathematics, Muthurangam Government Arts College ,Vellore invited as the resource person and he delivered a lecture on “Queuing Theory and Its Applications”. As many as 135 students and 20 faculties from various colleges participated in the state level seminar.
In this seminar paper presentation event was conducted.
At the end of the programme the Director and the Principal distributed prizes to winners for paper presentation event. Student T.Janani of I M.Sc.,Mathematics gave the vote of thanks.

On 22.12.2017, The greatest Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan’s Birthday was celebrated as a “NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY”.
