Annual Report for the Academic Year 2015-16
An Inter-Collegiate IT meet was conducted every year, this year the 9th edition of iBlaze was conducted on 9th September 2015. A seminar was conducted on “BIG DATA” by Mr. M. Karthik, technical trainer in Training and development Department, ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu. Various events like Paper Presentation, Animator, Code Blaster, Quiz, and Rad Event were conducted as part of iBlaze event. As many as 300 students from 30 colleges participated in this fabulous event and won prizes. An Intra Departmental Programme was conducted on 15.07.15 and the events like Paper Fest, Quiz competitions, Advertir and Group Discussion were conducted. We got the institutional membership in ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu and we motivate the staff and students to participate in various events organized by it.
The Fresher’s day was conducted on 22.08.15. Educational tour was organized on 29.08.15 to Kodaikanal about 150 students participated in it.
The Department of Computer Science, has produced the following results during the university examination held in the academic year 2014-15.

The department is constantly encouraging and motivating the students by allowing them to participate in the various events conducted by other colleges (Inter-Collegiate competitions). Many students participated in it and won prizes.
An Alumini meet was conducted on 06.03.16 by B.Sc.,(Computer Science) 2006-2009 batch students and as many as fifty students participated in it and share their views.
