Intercollegiate Lecture Programme:
Intercollegiate Quiz Program was conducted for UG students on behalf of RUSAC by our department on 15th March 2014. Students and staff members from 10 colleges were participated in the program and our college won second prize in this Quiz.
Out-Campus Achievements:
P.G. final year Students of our department were participated and presented a paper in the intercollegiate paper presentation, organized by the P.G. & Research Dept. of Chemistry, D.K.M. college for Women, Vellore, on Sept 14th-2013.
U.G. final year Students of our department were participated and presented a paper in the intercollegiate paper presentation, organized by the P.G. & Research Dept. of Chemistry, Auxilium College for Women, Vellore, on February – 2014.
P.G. Students of our department were attended ONE DAY INSTRUMENTATION WORKSHOP at Government Arts College, Tiruvannamalai on February- 2014.
P.G. Students of our department were attended ONE DAY INSTRUMENTATION WORKSHOP at VIT, Vellore on February 25th 2014.
P.G. first year Students of our department were participated in the intercollegiate paper presentation, organized by the P.G. & Research Dept. of Chemistry, C. Abdul Hukeem College, Melvisharam, on March 1st-2014.
P.G. final year Students of our department were participated and presented a paper in the intercollegiate paper presentation, organized by the P.G. & Research Dept. of Chemistry, Muthurangam Govt. Arts College(Autonomous), Vellore, on March 08th-2014.
State Level Conference:
Our Chemistry department organized State Level Conference on 3rd September 2013 in the topic “Recent Scenario in chemistry”. Dr. G. Thirumanavelan, Asst. Prof. of chemistry from VIT was the chief guest and delivered a special lecture and poster presentation was held in the afternoon session. Students and staffs from various colleges were participated in this conference.
Department Activities:
Our department were conducted various activities like paper presentation, Quiz competition, Debate, class seminars to motivate and to improve the talents of our students.
National Service Scheme:
UG Students of our Department were attended one week NSS Camp at Sethuvandai organized by NSS Coordinator of our college.
National Cadet Corps:
UG Students of our department were undergone NCC training for the last 6months in our college campus.
Sports Activities:
Many students of our department were participated and won many prizes in all the sports events conducted in our college campus.
Many students of our department were participated in many intercollegiate sports and won many prizes in all the sports events conducted by various institutions.
Fine Arts:
Many students of our department were participated and won many prizes in the competitions conducted by the fine arts team of our college.

Many of our department students of both UG and PG secured 100% attendance for this academic year.
H. Poornima of UG final year and G. Sujitha of PG final year chemistry were selected as a BEST OUTGOING STUDENTS of our department for the academic year 2013-2014.
