ACADEMIC ACHIVEMENTS:
In this academic year 2017 – 2018 Department of Business Administration has made innumerable achievements. We produced 80% results in University examination.
CLASS ROOM ACTIVITIES:
To improve the skills and knowledge of our students a number of seminar, group discussion, quiz programs are conducted related to subject topics and current affairs apart from curriculum argumentation students were encouraged to participate in group discussion.

STATE LEVEL SEMINAR:
Our department organized State Level Seminar on “GST – A Boon for Indian Economy” on 11th August 2017. Our Director Dr. D. Gajapathy and Principal Dr. M. Jayasri Rani, inaugurated and presided over the function. Mr. V. Prakash Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, West Assessment Circle, Gudiyattam gave a special lecture on “GST impact on Indian Economy” about 170 students and 15 faculty members from various colleges participated in seminar.
In the afternoon session Mime show was conducted about 9 teams participated in this event Priyadarshini Engineering College, Vaniyamabadi won I prize, II prize goes to Don Bosco College of Arts & Science, III prize won by Islamiah College for women. Our students also gave special performance for Mime show.
For Paper Presentation 11 colleges were enrolled out of these Islamiah College for women, Vaniyambadi won I & II prize. III prize was won by MMES College of Arts & Science for women, Melvisharam.
MANAGEMENT GAMES & BUSINESS QUIZ:
We organized management games and conducted business quiz program within our department as on 08th February 2018.
SPORTS PERSONNAL:
- Our first year student Mr. J. Gurumurthy received Form – III certificate for Chess tournament held in Thiruvalluvar University and he also participated in Chess tournament held at Cuddalore.
BLOOD DONATION:
Our department students comprising of 15 members donated blood in NSS camp held at our college auditorium on 24-01-2018.

NSS:
Our first year 5 students attended NSS camp conducted by our college at Kilalathur village from 26-01-2018 to 01-02-2018.
YRC:
Mr. K. Ranjith participated in YRC awareness program about fire safety, medical & motivational speech from 20-12-2017 to 23-12-2017 (4 days) held at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
Our students Mr. B. Sathiyan, Ms. M. Thenmozhi, Mr. K. Ranjith, Mr. D. Baleshwar & Mr. Pughenthi participated in YRC program conducted at our college on 02-02-2018.
