• In association with the Department of Biochemistry, the Dept
organized a Conference on “Emerging Trends in Biological and
Environmental sciences” on 10.9.2015, Special lectures on
advanced research topics arranged during the conference were
very useful to the students. The Dept. has organized for a 3 day
industrial visit to Gene Biotech, Kodaikanal
• The Dept. also successfully conducted intra departmental Quiz
competition on 06.10.2015 to create awareness and motivation
in the field of Microbiology.
