HEALTH CLUB [2017-2018]
The Primary Health Centre of Pasumathur along with our college Health Club organized an Awareness Program about “National Deworming Day” on 26.02.2018.
Our Principal and Director inaugurated the program. An awareness Lecture was given by Health Inspector Mr. Ravichandran and distributed Deworming Tablets to 1237 students of our institution.
On behalf of health club, a Free Eye Screening Camp was organized on 18.01.2018 and 19.01.2018 at K.M.G. Auditorium. Dr. D. Gajapathy, Director, Dr. M. Jaysree Rani, Principal and Prof. M. Megarajan, Vice-Principal presided over the function. Mr. R. Ganapathy camp Coordinator, Agarwal Eye hospital, Vellore, was the chief guest for the programme.
Nearly 600 Students, 100 Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members got benefited by this camp.
Health club coordinator Prof. S. Karthigai Devi Asst. Prof. Department of Biochemistry and members Prof. S. Chacko Vijay Sharma, Asst. Prof. Department of Microbiology and Prof. G.D. Sharmila Carolene, Asst. Prof. Department of Business Administration were arranged this programme.
