State Level Conference
The PG & Research Department of Chemistry organized a State Level Seminar in the topic "NANOTECHNOLOGY" on 26thAugust 2016. Dr. K. Geetha, Associate Professor & Head, PG & Research department of Chemistry, Muthurangam Govt. Arts College (Autonomous), Vellore, was the chief guest and she delivered a special lecture in the topic "Nanotechnology Revolution". In the afternoon session, poster presentation was conducted. 22 posters from 17 colleges were displayed. Dr. A. Dinesh karthik, Head, department of chemistry, Shanmuga Industries arts and science college, Tiruvannamalai, judged the poster presentation. As many as 200 students from 17 colleges participated in this state level seminar.
Out-Campus Achievements:
U.G. final year Students of our department were participated in the Intercollegiate Paper presentaion, organized by the P.G. & Research Dept. of Chemistry, D.K.M. College for Women, Vellore, on 1st September-2016.
P.G. Students of our department were participated in the State Level Seminar in the topic "Recent Trends in Nanotechnology" organized by the P.G. Department of Chemistry, Shanmuga Industries Arts & Science College, Tiruvannamalai, on 21st September 2016. Ms. Janani of II M.Sc. Chemistry won Second Prize in Poster presentation.
U.G. Students of our department were participated in One day Inter College Symposium on sustainable Environment organized by the Department of Chemistry, Priyadarshini Engineering College, Vaniyambadi on 26st September 2016. Ms. G. Aadhirai of III B.Sc. Chemistry won Second Prize in Paper presentation.
P.G. Students and Faculty members of our department were participated in the National Level Seminar in the topic "Recent Trends in Chemical Sciences" organized by the P.G. & Research Department of Chemistry, Arignar Anna Govt. Arts College, Cheyyar, on 07th October 2016.
I & II M.Sc., Chemistry Students of our department were participated in the Intercollegiate Quiz competition, organized by the P.G. & Research Dept. of Chemistry, C. Abdul Hukeem College, Melvisharam, on 24th January 2017 and won Third prize in the Intercollegiate Quiz competition.
