Academic Activities 2015 – 16

• Commerce department organized a workshop on “Financial Awareness” on 07.9.2015 .The Resource person was Mr.T.K.Sabu of SEBI. Nearly 200 students of the commerce department were Benefited by this program.
• In the pursuit to make the commerce students Tally literate, every year the department organizes for a Tally training programme in association with Intel experts Pvt. Limited, Chennai. The dept conducted Tally certificate course during weekends. More than 100 students were benefited by the program.
• An awareness program on Cost & management Accountancy as well as Chartered Accountancy was arranged by the Department on 29th September 2015. Resource persons were from the Vellore Institute of Commerce. A number of students and staff members of Commerce department have participated and acted as Resource Persons in various intercollegiate events.
