November 13th 2013, K. Dinesh Kumar III year Biochemistry was encouraged by management, Principal and Staff members who was organizing blood donation camp at Gudiyattam.
25th October 2013, motivation program were conducted in our department. Mr. Senthil Kumar Msc, M.Phil, 360 academy, pallikonda, has organized the program and motivates the students in their management skills and communication skills for their future career, especially for final year students. All the Biochemistry students were participated and gained knowledge in that program
12th October 2013 our PG and UG students, S.Ramesh, J.Sathish, P.Vasantha Kumar, K.Sheela, Vinoth, M.Ruban and K.Dinesh were participated and won prizes in various programs like fashion parade, skit, solo dance and group dance, conducted by Marudhar Kesari Jain College, Vaniyambadi.
5th September 2013, The PG and Research department of Biochemistry organized a National level seminar on Recent trends in Biosciences, inaugurated by Thiru. K.M.G.Sundaravadhanam, Chairman and Thiru.K.M.G.Balasubramanian, Managing Trustee, Thiru.K.M.G.Muthukumar, Joint Secretary of K.M.G.college of arts and science, and it is followed by the session I with the topic of Hope, Hype and Reality of Gene Therapy presented by Dr.Everette Jacob Ph.D, Associate professor, School of Biosciences, VIT University, Vellore and continued with session II with the topic of Lab science and Clinical signs by Dr.Dinesh MBBS.,MD.,IDCCM, Department of Anesthesiology and Critical care, Apollo KH Hospital, Melvisharam, Vellore came a long way to present a informative speech to the students. And it is followed by poster presentation, students from various colleges participate and won prizes and the Judgment panel members for poster presentation are Dr.S.Khaleel Basha Ph.D., Department of Biochemistry, C.Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam and Dr.A.Gokulakrishnan Ph.D., Department of Biochemistry, Islamiah College, Vaniyambadi and finally the seminar was concluded with the valedictory function, where the valedictory address was given by Dr.D.Gajapathy Ph.D, Principal, K.M.G.college of arts and science, Gudiyattam.
