CA Awarness Program
CA Awarness program was conducted on 05.11.2011. The Resource personnels of the programme were C.A. Nirmathi Azhagan F.C.A, Vellore branch of SIRC of ICAI, CA, S.Ramaligam F.C.A. vellore branch of SIRC of ICAI, and CA. NV Ranganatha Nagarajan FCA. Tiruvannamalai, SICASA Chairman of vellore branch of SIRC of ICAI, Awareness on CA studies, were given to the students.
Management Games and Quiz
Our department organized a "Management games and quiz on 22.09.2011 at K.M.G. Auditorium to impart the general knowledge and management skill to the students. Our principal Dr.D.Gajapathy distributed the prizes to the winners on that day.
Special Meeting
A special meeting was organized to our students on the topic "Investment Decisions" on 4th Nov.2011. Dr.Dhanalakshmi authorized speaker of SEBI delivered the special address.
Awareness Program
A special lecture was organized for Ist and IInd year students on the topic awareness on "FINANCIAL SERVICES" on 22.02.2012.Mr.P.M.Sairam Krishnan of Sri Dhivya Investments, Vellore, delivered the special address. On the same day "PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT" Programme was also organized to the final year B.Com., and B.Com., C.A., Students opportunities. Mr.L.M.V.Devkumar acted as chief guest of the day.
Environmental Visit
As a part of our curriculam 1st year UG students went to Environmental field visit along with two staff members went to Tamil Nadu Government Agricultural University at Melalathur, on 22nd and 23rd Sep. 2011.
Fresher's Day
Our department students organized freshers day celebration in a grand manner on 28.09.2011 at K.M.G. Auditorum. All second year and III year students gave warm welcome to the freshers of I.B.Com., I B.Com., C.A., and I M.Com., Students. our beloved principal presided over the function and our all the staff members of commerce department delivered the felicitation address to the students.
Farewell day Celebration
Our department organized "Farewell day" celebration on 21.03.2012 at K.M.G. Auditorium. Mrs.T.Bharathi Head, Dept of commerce presided over the function. Dr.D.Gajapathy principal of our college was the guest of honour of the day. The programme was organized by I and II year students of our department.
