- A special meeting was held on 18.08. 2016 on behalf of Literery association Dr. V.Anuradha, Head,Department of Tamil, Arignar Anna Govt. Arts College for Women, Walajapet addressed the gathering on “Elakkiya Katchiyum, Indraya Katchiyum”.
- To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swamy Vivekanandha, “Youth Day” was celebrated in our college. Our students got I, II and III prizes in the oratorical contest conducted by Vivekanandha Sabha, Vellore district level.
- On behalf of Tamil literary association intra collge oratorical contest, essay competiton, poetry writing competition and Drawing competitons were conducted.
